Thermotech fins do not have the traditional plastic feel of a composite fin. Instead they have a consistent flex that creates drive and release through turns. Thermotech fins come with the Futures Truss Base, making them lighter and stronger.
Our 5-Fin Setup boards are set in McKee quad placements. When they are ridden as quads this gives the boards a looser feel than if the rails were closer out on the rail while still maintaining the hold and speed of riding with four fins. For smaller or high performance riders looking for a feel even closer to thruster for looseness but still with greater speed we recommend using 3.75 rears.
