Shipping
After your order has been placed and confirmed, it will be placed into our production schedule. Our typical manufacturing times vary by construction. We do our best to manufacture your board as quickly as possible while maintaining the highest levels of quality. Sometimes art and resin tints can add to the production time but we’ve built in time for styles that are most commonly requested.
Manufacturing Lead Times
PU/PE (traditional poly) 10 weeks
RET (stringered EPS / epoxy resin) 10-12 weeks
RFT & RFT-2 (stringerless EPS / epoxy) 10 -12 weeks
RFT-TDD (custom built Tapered Dual Density blanks / epoxy) 12 weeks
Very often we have boards completed before the estimated time but they are best estimates and not guarantees. Once your order has been completed we will notify you via email or phone when it will be shipping or ready for pick up. If there are any additional fees we will bill those prior to shipping.
Surfboard Shipping
All surfboards 5'8 and shorter, anywhere in the Continental US $75.00
All surfboards 5'9 and longer, anywhere in the Continental US $175.00
All surfboards 8'0 and longer, anywhere in the Continental US $275.00
All surfboards 7'11 and shorter to major airports in the Hawaiian Islands for customer pickup $175.00
All surfboards 8'0 and longer to the Hawaiian Islands will need a shipping quote prior to your order for approval.
All surfboards 7'11 and shorter to SJU in Puerto Rico for customer pickup $175.00
All surfboards 8'0 and longer to SJU in Puerto Rico will need a shipping quote prior to your order for approval.
Shipments to Hawaii will be via Delta Air Cargo or similar air cargo companies. Shipments to Puerto Rico will be via Delta Air Cargo. Both will be customer pick up at their respected offices. At the time of shipment to either Hawaii or Puerto Rico, instructions for pick up will be provided. Door to door delivery is available by other carriers but at a higher additional cost that will be billed separately. Cargo office pick up is the preferred method for cost considerations.
Our standard shipping area is the Continental United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. If you are located outside of our standard shipping area then feel free to contact us for a shipping quote prior to your order. We will bill the difference prior to shipping. Customers will be responsible for any taxes and duties.
Pick up will take place at our factory showroom Anacapa Surf N Sport 1005 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93035.
We do not ship surfboards or over sized packages to PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPOs.
In the rare case of shipping damage or an error with your order, please call Roberts Surfboards at 805.658.6855 or send an email to [email protected] within 24 hours of receiving your product. In your email include pictures of the packaging, as well as the damaged goods. We will contact the shipper and begin the claims process. Sometimes the shipper may need to contact the customer.
Surfboards ship via FedEx, UPS or LTL. Products other than surfboards will be shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS. Orders outside our standard shipping area will be shipped by the best means as agreed between Roberts Surfboards and the customer. Some limitations may apply to areas that we can ship direct.
