INVADER

DESCRIPTION

The Invader is a stealthy wave destroyer. Beak nose, fuller volume, and mid-length describe features of boards from surfing’s past but they also add function to a style of performance board that makes the Invader very modern. The beaked nose brings volume forward into its longer length for paddling around the lineup with ease and catching waves the waves you want. With a touch more rocker in the nose and tail than boards of past, the Invader makes steep drops and rebounds off white water much easier than retro crafts. Down rails lower the rail apex for a thinner feel while giving the Invader more hold and quicker turning ability.

ROCKER

Slight flip in the nose to moderate in the middle, ending with a very light flip in the tail

RAILS

Low down rails throughout, soft tucked bevel in the entry going into a hard edge in the tail for hold

BOTTOM

Very light vee in the tip of the nose going flat in the first 8 inches then it goes in to a single concave then a double to light vee off the end of the tail

FINS

5-Fin Twonzer is standard to ride as Twonzer with Roberts Twonzer fins or thruster, can also be ordered custom with other setups

WAVE TYPE

Knee high to a couple feet over head

HOW TO SIZE THIS BOARD

The Invader is designed to be ridden above your height by at least 4 inches to be an easy paddling but still rippable mid length board. Looking for easier paddling size it longer than the chart might suggest for your weight to a comfortable length and volume. Custom dims are always available to match your needs or preferences.
